Atlanta is one of the most vibrant, creative, and entrepreneurial cities in the country.
Every day, new restaurants open their doors. Small businesses launch. Community organizations serve neighborhoods. Creators build audiences. Entrepreneurs introduce new products. Local events bring people together.
Yet despite all of that activity, one challenge continues to affect nearly everyone in the city.
It's still too difficult for Atlanta to find Atlanta.
Most local businesses rely on social media platforms, search engines, and paid advertising just to reach people who may live only a few miles away. Residents spend countless hours scrolling through global platforms hoping to stumble across a great local restaurant, discover a new event, or find a business that perfectly fits their needs.
The problem isn't that Atlanta lacks incredible businesses.
The problem is that there isn't a centralized place built specifically to connect Atlanta with Atlanta.

Our mission is simple:

Atlanta Local is designed to become the city's local discovery platform—a place where residents can discover businesses, book services, shop local, learn about upcoming events, support entrepreneurs, and stay connected to what's happening throughout the city.
Instead of relying solely on ever-changing algorithms, we're building a community-first platform focused entirely on Atlanta.
Our goal isn't simply to create another website.
Our goal is to strengthen the connections between the people who live here and the businesses, organizations, and entrepreneurs working every day to make Atlanta better.
More Than Technology

Atlanta Local is about creating opportunities for local businesses to be discovered.

Why We're Raising Funds
Building something that truly serves an entire city takes more than software.
It requires people.
It requires equipment.
It requires community partnerships.
Most importantly, it requires a place where that work can happen every single day.
That's why we're raising funds for an Atlanta Local headquarters.
A permanent headquarters will allow us to work on Atlanta Local full-time while creating a space where businesses can be interviewed, community stories can be produced, educational content can be created, and local events can be planned.
It will become the home base for the mission of connecting Atlanta with Atlanta.
Investing in Atlanta's Future
One of the most exciting parts of the headquarters isn't the office itself.
It's what will happen inside it.
A significant portion of the space is dedicated to launching the Atlanta Business & Data Science Academy for the Gifted.
Our vision is to prepare the next generation of innovators by teaching students the skills that will define the future—including software engineering, artificial intelligence, business intelligence, data science, entrepreneurship, and technology strategy.
Rather than teaching only theory, students will learn by solving real business problems and building real technology that serves their communities.
We believe Atlanta should help produce the next generation of founders, engineers, data scientists, and technology leaders.
The academy is one way we can help make that happen.
