Too many local businesses are doing great work but still struggle to be found. Atlanta Local is designed to bring the city closer together by giving residents one place to discover restaurants, shops, services, professionals, events, resources, and stories happening right in their own backyard.

Local discovery is still broken.
Atlanta is full of incredible businesses, professionals, creators, and community resources. But many of them are hard to find unless you already know where to look.
Business owners are often forced to compete with expensive marketing platforms, changing algorithms, and big-budget companies just to reach people who may already live nearby.

Atlanta Local is creating a centralized place where residents can discover what’s happening across the city and where local businesses can gain more visibility without relying only on big-tech platforms.
This is not just a directory. It is local infrastructure for community connection, business growth, and economic support.
Why I'm building this.
My name is Axander "Mike" Wilson, founder of XBiz Intelligence . For years, I've had the opportunity to build software, AI solutions, and business intelligence systems that help organizations launch, grow, and solve real-world problems through technology.
But Atlanta Local is about something bigger than technology. It's about using those same skills to strengthen the city that shaped me—making it easier for people to discover local businesses, support entrepreneurs, connect with their communities, and create opportunities for the next generation.
My hope is that Atlanta Local becomes more than a platform. I want it to become a lasting institution that helps connect our city, celebrate the people building it, and inspire future innovators to use technology for the benefit of their own communities.

Atlanta Business & Data Science Academy for the Gifted
One of the biggest parts of the Atlanta Local vision is opening the Atlanta Business & Data Science Academy for the Gifted — a place where students learn technology by solving real business problems.
Instead of only teaching theory, the academy will introduce students to software engineering, AI, business intelligence, data science, marketing systems, and entrepreneurship through real-world projects connected to actual organizations.
The goal is simple: give gifted students the tools, mentorship, and confidence to build solutions that serve their communities.
The animated series shows the vision in action.
While we raise the funds to open the real academy, we are using an animated series and comic-style storytelling to show what the students will learn.
The series follows students as they build real technology systems — including AI-powered fundraising tools, marketing automation, customer acquisition systems, dashboards, communication APIs, and permissions systems.
These are not random classroom examples. They are inspired by the same kinds of client projects being built through XBiz Intelligence, the business intelligence and software agency founded by Axander “Mike” Wilson.
